Background: A manufacturer of automotive rear transmissions was seeking an alternative to keeping its fluid clean in a 'test flush cell'. The existing system consisted of a single tank, pump, and hydraulic filter. The problem with the existing system was the cost of maintaining the hydraulic filter which was costing $170 per day, excluding the cost of labor.

Solution: Install an EasyClean Duplex Automatic filter including an additional tank and pump. From the existing dirty tank, fluid is pumped through the EasyClean filter fitted with 50 micron filter elements. The fluid is then discharged into a clean tank where the existing pump delivers clean fluid to the test cell.
